I'd thought about that too. I'll probably go that route so I don't have to lose any space with a sub, aside from it possibly getting stolen since I'm not going to spend money on a stealth box. Plus the amp can be hidden. How powerful of an amp suggested?

Well basically I'm trying to upgrade from stock nonbose to some speakers with good bass, don't really want to go subs for really powerful bass but nice like today's newer vehicles.

Pioneer TS-G1643R vs TS-A1674R A-Series Just wondering if I'll hear a big bass difference between the two. I have a 300 or 350 watt head unit I forget which. The a series has a higher max watt and is 3way but I don't know how much difference that makes.

Don't know what adapter was used when they installed. Installer told me it was because its not a "true ignition, its all data". So what I need its a gmos-04? Something simple enough to do my self?
