For my EXT, I have in the past done a partial lowering of the tank, keeping connectors connected and putting key in on position to get fuel up to pressure to check for leaks. Used floor jack to lower it on to boards if I remember correctly. Maybe you can lower it a little to get a mirror up...

I've used Four Seasons and they do suck, will never buy again. They like to whine around 2000 rpms and fail early. Maybe that's why they call it four seasons, that's how long they hope it lasts !

Oh I agree it's not the ideal fix. It will continue to rust and over time will eventually leak again. How long is the roll of the dice. And the space inside there to work with is a big challenge, and was a primary reason why I went this route first.
