Thanks, I'll pull the boot back further and see what is going on. I pulled it halfway back and things looked good. Dumb question then, how do I check for continuity with a multi meter when the wire sheeting is still in tact/no broken spot?

I generally wouldn't go to this particular dealer for warranty work as the only reason I have a warranty is because they screwed up so bad a few years ago that the GM team had to fly out to fix the truck but because the truck had to be flat bedded in, the warranty pays for the tow to the closest...

Yep it donned on me that they must have disconnected it for the fix but they did blame it on whomever installed the battery. I just didn't mention it was me because I knew I tightened it.

The dealer just called and told me that the battery terminals weren't tightened enough. Problem is that I installed the battery myself and they were very tight. Thinking it must truly be the battery and the dealer is just trying to clear the deck and get his loaner back.

Thanks, It's weird that there was just no warning and I even kept up with the service interval on the fluid. The dealer is sending the tow truck to come and get it.
