I have a 2005 trailblazer ext 4.2 with a spun bearing. I have found a 2006 tb with a 4.2 that was front end totaled. I will be purchasing the entire truck. Will the 06 4.2 swap into the 05? What kind of extra work or concerns will I face? This will not be my first motor swap on the platform...

The weight limit is no where close to 350 lbs. It took very little use before the plastic was tearing around the wheel plates on mine. That was only supporting 300lbs. It is an inexpensive and comfortable creeper, I would just caution you to trust it for much more than 250lbs.

I have done a few transmissions now and it is the other way around for me. I know how to work on them, its really not difficult. But I still can't fully grasp how it works.
