Along the original post of going from an LT to an LS front end..... I figured both headlights, grill and bumper but what is the item called that they mount to? Looks like some plastic is damaged behind all of this which I will guess I need to pick up as well.

One other thought I had on this from looking at the RP5-GM11 wires is the additional blue/yellow wire for connecting to the SWI. I have tried looking online for a wiring diagram that reveals which (color) wire is on the factory side of the wire harness so I can try connecting the blue/yellow...

As a final present for the Trailblazer (As well as me of course) and because the power switch on the factory radio is getting REALLY flaky I put in a Dual XDCPA9BT double din radio. I picked up the PAC RP5-GM11 Wiring Interface to make for an easy(?) install. After getting everything wired up...

Put my "new" gmrs radio into the Trailblazer. Hats off to Kenwood for making a "remote" kit that allows a person to take the face plate off their radio and provide a nice long (in my case a too long so it's coiled up under the seat) cable to get the radio out of the way since the Trailblazer...

While that is a great idea I took advantage of Amazon's return policy and sent the first replacement module back already. Who knows? Maybe it was a case of just getting a bum replacement. My luck never seems to work out like that but hey, there is a first time for everything..... 😉

Thank everyone for the suggestions! I will do some digging to see what measurement I can take for the fan to see how much it is drawing when hooking 12 volts to it.
