Nice place ya'll got here. I joined a while back just for research but needed some advice and posted up the issue I'm having with my wife's 2005 Rainier. Already have some good advice, thanks.
I'm a retired Coast Guardsman, Machinery Technician, made Chief Warrant Officer from E-7 and then was appointed LT (O3E). Did 20 years and couldn't decide if I liked it or not so I stayed another 10 years and decided I didn't so I got out.
After the CG I kicked around with a couple of companies and found a home building boats and barges, loved that job. Retired and moved to MO, not too far from Branson.
Here are a couple barges and boats I built at my last job. First one is a 185,000 barrel oil barge. Next is a smaller version, 155,000 bbl, this was taken in the Mississippi river in New Orleans. The next 2 are inland tow boats, first is a standard boat the next 2 are called jack ups as the wheelhouse raises and lowers to pass under bridges.

Welcome to the forums brother...

We are a slow moving forums as these old GMT-360's are a dyeing breed. I still own one, but its now a backup vehicle. I know @Mooseman bought a much newer 1500 Duramax Rig, not sure if he still has his GMT360.

We are alive, but its a slow mover for sure.

Welcome to the forum, from Oregon. Moved here from MO myself. Lived in Gladstone. Mo. and made a bunch of trips to Branson on my Harley's, way back when. Did my 4 years in the Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63. 2 years of the war and 2 years peacetime.

I own a GMT800 Tahoe Z71 and my girl has the 77k mile GMT360 2002 TrailBlazer. I love driving that vehicle and even has enough room for my 6'4" tall 290 lb. frame.

Oh yes I still have my 2007 TB. Just over 200k km and still going. It's true that the GMT360s are on their way to extinction but we're keeping them alive as long as possible. Lots of folks here to help out.
