Video: This is why you don't work under with a jack!

Yea, this is why I use ramps and blocks and jack stands and floor jacks. I will NOT let my girl see this video. Even with all the safety steps I take and having been doing this for close to 50 years counting 40+ years in shops and working with dad before and now at home in the driveway, with all that experience, she throws a fit when I go under a vehicle. If she is here and I am under a vehicle, she watches the whole time I am under. If I am under the hood and working exterior or interior, she is ok with that.
She knows how to set a floor jack and how to use both floor jacks I have. She even double checks the jack stands I set. She is not effing around when it comes to all that safety and I am good with it too.
I don't understand why the cop was the one who called for a jack. The store manager and customers should have had the car up on a jack and stands well before the cops arrived.
Need some of that "toxic masculinity" up there. SMH

That was mentioned a lot in the comments. Heck even the cop had trouble getting one. Only thing I can think of is that the store had none assembled.
Things I noted:
- The guy was pinned under a nice looking Mercedes. He couldn't afford to take it to a shop or have a proper jack and jack stands?
- Nobody thought of getting a jack except the cop (of course!)
- There were people and employees in the store who couldn't care less (yeah, guy dying in the parking lot, whatever!)
- The gaggle of people there could have lifted the car enough to be able to drag him out. Heck, I think they didn't even need a jack. The skinny BIL could have done the dragging while the others lifted the car.
- People are stupid!
And looking at the video description, the guy did survive so no Darwin award for him.
