Time for fluid change.
Surely the ACDelco 88800402 is full synthetic, yet doesn't appear on the label.
Red Line Synthetic Gear Oil GL-4 75W-80 1 Quart - 50204 Is labeled a full synthetic.

They are $27 to $24 /Qt times 2
Thinking if paying that much why not the best.

Opinions: Stick with OEM, or switch?

Yes OEM. The Smurf blood actually looks more like tranny fluid but with blue dye.
