So I have the wonderful P0606 code. The Buick stopped running but then started right back up and the check engine light came on. It seems to be running OK right now but I'm just wondering what a new PCM is going to cost me? Dealer? PCM For Less? Thanks!

If every duralast hub lasted 35k like mine, I would never buy them...

Well, I guess my duralast hub on the driver's side was the problem after all. Wonder how long that OEM hub will last being on the driver's side when it spent the first 111k miles on the passenger side.....

This is my plan today..... If the "old hub" from the passenger side makes the noise go away when installed on the driver's side, I may just leave it there until it dies. The driver's side is a cheap Duralast from Autozone with 30k miles on it.

I had that thought but USUALLY when you go around a left curve and the noise gets worse, the right hub is bad. I guess I could take the one I just took off and put it on the drivers side and see if the problem goes away. I didn't ruin the old one taking it off...

So I replaced the passenger side wheel hub and the noise is still there. I swapped tires from left to right and the noise is still there when turning left. What now????

I think I have a wheel hub going out but not sure. I have the front end up in the air and don't ear any grinding or unusual noises when I spin either wheel. There is no play when I grab the tire at 3&9 or 12&6. Driving noises: Faint growling noise when going straight and can feel it some in the...

The truck has right at 100k miles. Probably worth it just to do inner/outer on both sides? I would hate to replace one and then get an alignment just to have another go bad next year.

When I have the front wheel off the ground..... I grab the tire on the sides and try to turn it side to side, I hear and feel and thump. How do I know if its the out or inner tie rod? Thanks!

Thanks! This shouldn't be too costly of a repair if everything goes well. The pump, coolant and a serpentine belt is just $62 at advance auto after using a $35 coupon code I found online. The current belt has 50k miles so I might as well replace it since it will be off anyway.

yeah, that top connections looks like a pain to get too. How long do they normally last? 100k, 150k, 200k?

Do you guys think I should replace the upper and lower radiator hoses while I'm in there?

Is the nut holding the fan assembly standard thread? Looking at the front of engine with wrench handle at 12 O'clock, smack with hammer to left?

Brake are easy so I'll give it a shot. Looks like the fat nut is 36mm. The old site has a dude using a big wrench and a hammer to knock it loose. How many gallons does the radiator hold? I'll replace all the coolant while I'm making a big mess. Thanks!!
