Feels like 4lo when in 2hi (Cold conditions only)

Hmm my TB has never been garaged and its performed flawlessly in every aspect, every winter. Especially with this year's "polar vortex". Let me put it another way the TB is our family "go to vehicle". That says a lot because we have luxury Japanese and European vehicles as well and they don't...

    Long Term Service History

Thanks for this, very informative. My 2007 with 64,000 miles has been excellent. The best vehicle I have ever owned, and I have owned many - both imports and domestic. Besides preventative maintenance such as tires, brakes, battery, oil etc the only repair I have done so far is the driver...

Good day to stay inside....The tree branch at 1:00 in bottom picture came down shortly after. I was worried about it hitting my Impala but God was on my side.

What did you do to your GMT today?

Oil Change Rplcd driver door switch for heated seats, locks & windows. Everything worked fine just rear part of switch did not light up @ night....yep I'm picky. Replaced idler pulley (she was whining) When I pulled into the dealer I hit 99,999km. When I left she had 100,000km (62,000 miles)

Family types: Where does your wife stow her purse in the vehicle?

LOL. This is a great thread. I did actually notice this when I first got the TB but then never gave it much thought. As with most here the most common spot seems to be "foot well" area. lol.

New (to me) Denali owner from Florida!

Welcome and congrats! We have the same vehicles.....well kind of. I have a TB (obviously) and an Impala as well. Not SS just your typical 8th gen LS but I love it all the same.

    trade 2008 for 2006?

As previously mentioned I wouldn't trade down either. You suggested a beater minivan....I would go that route. People rag on minivan's but honestly they are so functional. I've always been partial to the Pontiac Montana and you can get those cheap since they are a dime a dozen.
