2006 Wiper Arm Replacement with what Year?

So I have been lucky and with this site I have been able to fix everything on my original owner TB has finally had the rear wiper die. I think it is the motor and will try that after I check the wires. Fluid flows fine, rear defrost died a few years ago when the connector pulled off the...

    what plug

Will that connector fit in the Trailblazer mount on the underside of the bumper? Adding the 4 pin connector makes it look too big.

Wheel Hub - Humming - ACDelco parts of lower grade?

Ok, Thanks guys. I have read in the Amazon reviews that changing both makes a big difference in the feel....and i don't want to get stuck somewhere if I only change one. I was doing 88mph on I-90 across South Dakota (speed limit is 80) on my way to the ranch, went 70-80 mph on the way home...

Wheel Hub - Humming - ACDelco parts of lower grade?

I just returned from a 1500 mile trip and on the way home the front end started humming. Mechanic says it is the front right hub/bearings. I know for many of these TB parts, the vehicle runs better with AC Delco parts. Would that run true with the hub as well? I can get a Detroit Axle for...

    Why 13 MPG?

True Doc, but these forums are full of posts about poor fuel mileage. The kicker for me is I have a company car, so I drive that whenever possible and not the TB. When I hit the road to go anywhere I take the vehicle with free gas and other expenses.

    Why 13 MPG?

I am amazed, last week I finally got a chance to drive mine far enough on a tank with highway miles only. I got 21.7 mpg. That's a mix of Freeway doing 70, two lane highway doing 55. I about crapped when the trip was over, I went 250 miles and was just barely below half a tank. The week...

    Why 13 MPG?

I have the Lime tune in. The last tank I filled was 290 mile at 20.5 gallons 14.14 mpg. City Highway mix. I have only put that many miles on since my return on Sept 26th from Arizona. Like I said it sits most of the time until the snow flies. I think a sensor or two is messed up...

    2007 Tahoe - Trans Cooler?

Had a tranny shop put an aftermarket Hayden on my TB. After two years a clamp failed and it dumped all the tranny fluid on the interstate. Lucky fir me I paid a fortune for a highway robbery service shop to deliver me 5 qts. No damage to tranny. Paid $251 for service on the interstate...

Gutless at 0 mph but good accell at 15-20 mph

Sorry to hear of your eye ailment. There are times, usually when my engine is warm, border line hot, my fan is roaring, during the summer that my second gear is totally slow and unresponsive. Other times at slightly cooler temp and fan is quiet it runs great. If you figure it out...

    Fuel Mileage?

You joined the club! I pulled a trailer with ATV over 3000 miles and hit an average of 12 mpg. I get home and while still using premium fuel 91 octane I am getting 13mpg for city and highway driving. Same recent maintenance; plugs, coil paks, O2 sensor, PCM Tune. There's something...

    Ideas on t-shooting coil packs?

9 times out of 10 the #3 coil and plug go bad due to the water coming off the windshield and settling on top of the engine area. Some of the water always finds its way into #3 plug and coil. There's a TSB out there that describes this problem and a dealer fix. Why #3 and not #4 or #2 I...

How many miles have you got on your GMT

Bought new in 2006, 88k miles. It's a winter driver for wife. Only real major thing was a transfer case. I did that myself so cost wise it has been inexpensive but very crappy mpg.

Blower Motor 4th Speed no work

This took about 15 minutes, awkward position climbing up under the passenger dash. 6mm nut driver for the resistor, 7mm for the two screws holding the cover on under the dash. Fortunately the connector wasn't melted. I did this vehicle and my son did the blower motor resistor for his Nissan...
