    The Search for New Tire

I have had the Grabbers on my TB for a few years now. They did well in summer and winter driving between Detroit and Chicago. They are at about 5-6/32 of tread left, so I have been looking at prices for new tires. We'll see how harsh of a winter we have. I have the P235/75/R16's on mine.

    Trailblazer Radiator replacement

I received the radiator from Advance Auto- it was the Carquest branded on. Dimensions are spot on with the OEM, and the trans cooler adapters were already screwed in. I came packed nicely- well protected and was strapped to an inner box which protected the cap and upper/lower hose openings...

    Gas...

I'd agree with that, mine smells gassy on a cold startup too.

    Trailblazer Radiator replacement

So I realized my radiator was leaking at the bottom where the tank meets the aluminum core. Did some research and it seems some folks have removed it without taking the fan clutch/shroud and others have removed with without taking the shroud out. It looks pretty tight, and I really didn't want...

    Don't overlook the basics...

Hey everyone. It's been awhile since I posted here. Love the site, lots of great info! Anyway, I have been chasing a front end noise for some time now. Wound up replacing my driver's wheel bearing and changing the front diff fluid (needed to be done anyway). Still had the dumb noise- started at...

    Onstar Mirror

Yep, I have an 05 and just swapped the manual mirror with an autodim with compass and temp. I had to add the temp sensor, since I have an LS, but that was easy also.

What did you do to your GMT today?

Hung pads and rotors on all 4 corners on the TB. Man, the inside surface of the rotors were rusted bad! Gotta love the north and road salt. Not too bad for about 72K miles. At least the caliper brackets came off without too much fuss.

    My babies funeral

That sucks. Sorry for the loss.

If you're happy with your TB/Envoy, let me know

Love mine. Room for the whole family, including the dog. had to replace the water pump & fan clutch this past summer, soldered the radio bulbs also. Like others have said, find one where the maintenance has been kept up and you should be in good shape.

What did you do to your GMT today?

Took the pickup to Wally World to get another free rotate & balance. And they greased all the zerks for free. Gotta love lifetime rotate & balance!

    Blower runs after shut off

SI is GM's Service Information site, where they pull labor ops, bulletins and TSB's. It is accessed through GM Global Connect. Advisors and Techs should have access to it at most GM dealers.

    02 GMC Envoy Whining Noise

If it whines when you're on the gas but goes away when you let off the gas, definitely sounds like a rear diff noise to me. All rear ends will have a certain amount of whine in them. My pickup went through 3 rear ends before they finally got the pattern correct. It used to whine at 45MPH, but...

    Blower runs after shut off

I just pulled it from SI. Any dealer should be able to do the same. #99-01-39-004D: Air Conditioning Odor (Install Evaporator Core Dryer Kit and Apply Cooling Coil Coating) - (Aug 10, 2011) Subject: Air Conditioning Odor (Install Evaporator Core Dryer Kit and Apply Cooling Coil Coating)...

    Oil Filter Options

I prefer to use AC Delco's on my vehicles. Although recently Meijer had 5 qt jugs of Mobil 1 + a Mobil 1 filter for $29.99. I have the filter on my pickup and have no complaints with it.
