Ive got a leaky power steering cooler to pump line. All lines were replaced 2 years ago along with the rack and pump. Crimped fitting is leaking.

Should I get a new hose here... About $50 in Canada. Or do you think I can cut the hose and crimp fitting out and maybe splice in some hose?

All hoses are edelmann. If I go a different route, do you recommend a replacement brand. Would rather not do this again. 2473.jpg

I'd just cut out the crimp and use two hose clamps. Crimped usually are good for high pressure lines and this is low pressure. I think this is on-par for Edelmann.

If you cut it out and clamp on the hose, do not use worm gear clamps. Use line clamps, 2 or 3 of them, like they use on fuel injection lines.

Did not see a "share" option anywhere. I picked one and here is the link for the single one. But, all I did was a search at ebay for 2008 TB power steering lines.

That didn't work neither.

I don't know why but for a while now, just copying the URL doesn't work. All it shows is a picture of a single pixel.

Ok, When I did the original post of the complete ebay page, that "share" link was not there. I went back and looked and is still not there. When I do pick one supplier, I do see the share but I just copied the link and posted that. Way simpler than clicking on "share" and going thru all the choices.

Is there a problem opening the link? I tried to open and it opens right up.

Might depend on the browser. At work, I use Edge and the link doesn't work, but at home, FF does the same thing. The easiest way to share a link by copying and pasting is buggered up but only for eBay. I just tried in Chrome and the links do the same thing.

Thanks guys. Im hoping to do this in the next week or two. I've got some hose and line clamps around from patching the old lines a couple years ago. If I need to replace in the future I'll consider those A-Premium hoses. Hopefully it never gets to that, as the three hoses were new less then 2 years ago. If they could only be as accessible as this line is.
