If you cut it out and clamp on the hose, do not use worm gear clamps. Use line clamps, 2 or 3 of them, like they use on fuel injection lines.

I'd just cut out the crimp and use two hose clamps. Crimped usually are good for high pressure lines and this is low pressure. I think this is on-par for Edelmann.

Ive got a leaky power steering cooler to pump line. All lines were replaced 2 years ago along with the rack and pump. Crimped fitting is leaking. Should I get a new hose here... About $50 in...
