After scrolling through a few HVAC posts, I have to ask: What would cause the drivers side vents to blow hot and the passengers side cold when set to the same temp?(Besides a driver who didn't do the most thorough check of functions at the time of purchase) I couldn't find a similar scenario. Do both sides need charged separately? Any input would be great, especially with summer around the bend.

I believe there are actuators that control each side, do you have the digital controls?

when my HVAC went haywire and blowing hot and cold, i just pulled the HVAC fuse at the rear BCM fuse panel (# 36 i do believe, but check the owners manual) and sure enough it was blown. replaced the fuse and everything returned to normal. not saying this is the answer for you, but an avenue you could look at. I have manual HVAC controls, so im not sure if it's the same with the digital folks.

The digital and manual control systems both have the identical electric actuators behind the dash.

I actually screen capped that from another HVAC post you made to use as reference. Hopefully one way or another I hunt it down!

A system low in refrigerant could have similar symptoms, one side blowing colder than the other.

I guess i'll start with the fuse and checking the refrigerant pressure, and if neither of those are the issue, move on to checking the actuators. Thanks for the help guys.

So if I have no flow out of both Driver & Passenger Dash (top arrow setting on digital display), it would be the "Floor/Dash Vent Mode Actuator"?? But what part no. would that be as I don't see it listed?

To add, before I lost the Dash vents flow (recent), I would occasionally hear a clicking when settings were changed. (don't recall being changed from what & to what)

It's the "airflow mode actuator" part number. No other description fits its function.

Clicking is a sign of imminent actuator death, as plastic gear teeth break or get skipped when they're worn or the motor overtorques them.

Define "accessible"

It is accessible if you stand on your head under the dash and contort yourself a bit
