I have been trying to find posts online with similar situations to mine but have had little luck resolving the issue. Today the airbag, abs, and handbrake lights are all on from as soon as the car is turned on and they stay on. I tried pulling the fuses (#18 and #33) to the systems to see if the lights would go away. I disconnected the batter, pulled the fuses, and let the battery sit for 10 or so minutes then plugged it back in. The lights remained on the dash. The battery was swapped out today, yesterday there were no problems on the old battery. I don't know if its a fuse or something else, but I hope its a simple problem and not a big electrical mess. All other gauges work, all interior features/lights/radio/etc function as they should. The car has been out of commission for a couple of weeks due to hunting down an injector problem so this wasn't something that happened while driving. Once again it had no issues yesterday, but now the lights are on today. Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!

Following your injector issue, which was from broken wires, I would be looking at power and grounds getting to those modules. Download the manuals from my signature for schematics. If you have the capability, use a scanner that will pull the codes from these modules.

Your SRS/ABS codes are going to be hard set, with codes, in the SRS/ABS module. These will not just go away with a unplug of the battery, or fuses. To pull the codes, you will have to get a mid tier OBD code reader, as a standard one will not work.

I was going to suggest a check/replacement of your ignition switch, but if I remember right, you just replaced that recently, or am I wrong?

+1 on the need for an ABS code reader, it won't be the last time you need it either, comes in handy tracking down a problematic bearing hub. I have an actron that supports up to 2005, but it can read my 2006 just fine.

I would like to look at the codes at some point, I just need to find someone with a good enough scanner. As for the abs code, I know its not the actual wheel bearings that went bad as I have already had to deal with that before and they have been replaced. I'm unsure of what kind of electrical issue plagued my car but I would like to get those codes scanned for try to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for the help so far guys
