Alternator choices?

I haven't looked into it, but I'm pretty sure my alternator is slowly going out..my voltage moves back and forth constantly. What kind of alternator do you recommend? Something with more power than stock of course...

They get costly man. I myself run a 250a mechman alternator and it is my second one for my truck. First one had the rear bearing basically explode the spacers. There is mechman, dc power, singer alternators and a few others. I would not recommend going to irragi alternators though.

I have a Mechman 250 also. Seems to be pretty good but it did have the voltage regulator go bad. I sent it in for warranty and it was fixed free under warranty, just paid shipping there. Costly but well worth it.
