Bumper step plates

If I were out to get ya, I have ways to get you and would have already had you... Sooo it must be the latter.

I am EXTREMELY interested in getting both the rear bumper and in door steps for my TBSS.
Please tell me what I have to do to order and ship?!?!?!

Get a hold of Kevin at kdhwiz@aol.com. I believe the door sills are going for $110 for the set shipped. He also has a bowtie version available.

As far as the billet aluminium rear bumper set pads, last I spoke to Kevin (DFWWIZ) he is still looking for a machine shop with a big enough table to do the machining. I have been on standby a while myself waiting.

I do have Kevin's door sills and they are awesome. Here is a pic of the bowtie version. Also, welcome to the forum :tiphat:

Well finally received word from Jereme today in TN that the shop is about to start making the 50 plates for me this week. No bear with me as I set up to start taking deposits or payments to get these shipped to Texas where I will be powder coating and polishing them along with installing the red side fire LED option. There will be 2 versions - one with SS in the middle and one with lines all the way across.
This is also posted on TBSS owners.com and many facebook TBSS groups as well so I'm sure its going to get crazy. I'll start taking deposits later this week.

Deposits are now rolling in and I've got a few peeps working with me on answering questions since I can't stay on line all day and get things done.
Mike Bissman, Ivan Valdez, Dustin Johnson, Jay Mildner and Todd Hajel are all in the loop and know the particulars.
This is on several facebook groups, TBSSowners forum as well as here.
Deposit of $100 to kdhwiz@aol.com
2 versions - one with SS in the middle and one with lines all the way across
different powder colors and textures and/or with polishing and/or with red side firing LEDs under back edge for parking or brake lights
Bare CNC machined is $150 (you paint or powder)
$225 for the full blown powdered n polished with LEDs
Fed Ex shipping from $13 on up depending on where to and insurance etc

I know living in Canada will add another $30 to the shipping cost, sorry guys, just the way it is.
 
Be nice to get enough rainier owners up for some sets with Buick logo. I'd personally love a GS set as opposed to SS [emoji3]

Sill plates and step plates btw.

There was a thread started on this for Buick owners about a year ago. Not much interest at all to make it worth the effort.

Yeah I kinda figured as much. Doesn't seem to be many of us Buick guys here. Wouldn't be cost effective for just one set.

You could always bump the old thread or start a new one and see if there is any new interest. We have had many new members join over the last year. Not sure how many orders Kevin would need to make it worth the time.

Looked for it but didn't find it. I doubt there's 20+ rainier guys who'd order. I'm sure that would be the minimum for anything like that. The Buick sills are way different too they have an oval insert that says Buick on it. Looks pretty good stock. That bumper step is sweet though. Might just have to go with the straight lined one. So many irons in the fire right now though. Need wheels and paint first and to pay for Better halfs school.
 
I "toyed" with the idea of doing a generic plate with a blank spot in the middle where the "SS" is and then having a shop waterjet some logos that could be fastened to the middle.

That would be great for all the Buick GMC Saab guys. Oh and ascender guys. If they exist lol. Have yet to ever see one in person.
 
I have seen a few Ascenders, they do exist. :yes:
 
One runs around my hometown and lives right near our office for our rentals. Kinda dig it
 
If I've ever seen one I didn't notice it. I've only seen a few Saabs as well. Saw one last week at Walmart. First one in awhile. See mostly TBs and envoys. See tons of those everyday. Few rainiers here and there, and the occasional bravada

I can see this is an old thread, however- I am interested in an SS bumper step plate/ pad. Are these still available and how can I get one?

DFWWIZ (Kevin) just posted on Facebook the other day that had had a bunch of bumper step plates and door sills still available. He has the plain ribbed design and also ribbed design with the "SS" in the center. Same for the door sills. He can customize the bumper plates and door sills anyway that you like.

Just hit him up on his email that SiB posted or if you can find him on FB.
