It was -16 today my TB was outside all-day. When I went to start it after work it fired right up but ran super rough. Then both check engine and reduced power lights came on. I drove home doing about 20mph. When i got home I put it in the garage and disconnected the battery for about 10 min. I reconnected the battery and fired it up and now it runs fine. Both lights went out. Any thoughts ?

Gotta read the codes before resetting it next time. You erased most of the evidence. When was the last time you cleaned the throttle body?

-9 here in Michigan today without wind chill. Mine started up no problem. Yeah, throttle body or what comes to my mind is maybe there's water in your fuel... run some of that water remover things on the next fill. I don't know about HEET but I did use some shell stuff one time with no problems.

I've had this too a few times when it's super cold out, on both Envoy's I've owned. Cleared the codes, never to return. Typically the truck runs fine after a simple restart. I do believe it's related to the TB, but it only happens once or twice a year, and only when it's stupid cold out.

I wouldn't worry about this one unless it's a continuous problem.
