2005 Chevy Trailblazer. The cluster was not acting right and would light up if i pulled the connector closer to the cluster. ( The Main plug into the cluster). I got one from the junk yard and spliced it in. Not thinking I didn't disconnect the battery and cut the wires and they sparked. It was not connected to the cluster at this time. I unhooked the battery and continued. I spliced the new pigtail in and only the blinkers are showing up on the cluster. No rpms, nothing. I checked all fuses in the rear fuse block and they are all good. Where do I go from here?

Thanks in advance.

Replace fuse 24 in the underhood fuse block (near the battery). Also check fuse 22 while you're under there, but you probably didn't blow that one unless you had the key on when you did the work.

If you have the manuals (link in my sig), check the schematics to see if there are any wires in that are hot when the ignition is off and what might have been affected during the cut. Hopefully it's not the BCM.

Will do. Going to check them after I get home from work tomorrow. Thanks guys, Ill get back to you.
