Envoy ebrake actuator

On my 02 Envoy the right side actuator will not return disengaging that ebrake. Is there any maintenance or adjustment possible?

Plenty of levers and a cable that could use lube. May also have broken bits inside the rotor top hat where the shoes are. Pull the tire and rotor and look.

Had a car & truck where the ebrake wouldn't release. Found both times the trouble was the cable sheath was rubbing on the frame. Once the sheath wore through the cable was next & the individual wires would break and bend around - locking the ebrake.
Easiest fix - replace the cable.
