Gear ratio question....

Hey guys

I have a 06 LT SWB TB with 3:42 (GU6) with the G80 locker and was wonder if that's what all 06 LT SWB's (I6) with G80 lockers came with or if they typically had different gear ratios.

Looking at doing a rear axle swap.......

3.42 is the standard and thus most common gear set. 3.73 and 4.10 were optional. G80 was also optional, not sure how common it was. I know when I did my rear axle swap the majority of the ones I found were not G80 around here.

Gone out of town for work for a few days. Thanks it helps. Gonna swap out the rear axle in the next couple of weeks when I get the chance.

Gone out of town for work for a few days. Thanks for the info it helps. Gonna swap out the rear axle in the next couple of weeks when I get the chance. I have one complete with breaks / shocks and everything for $200.

Long story short...guy before me wrecked the rear dif and axle(don't know how but...) ......replaced in 08 with an 05 on to the 06. ABS / Stabtrac and etc don't hook up. Dings like craze on start up but drives fine....Just want all the lights out and ABS working. He was upfront when I bought it and I checked replacement costs with local wreckers...math worked out in my favor big time so......Has taken over a year to get the right one at a decent price so I was just checking to see if I had my facts right so when I go to get it I knew what I was doing.

So that's the next project to knock out.
