Well it's been a nice long run, but it's time for me to bid you all farewell.

We bought our 2002 TB EXT in 2003 and had it for 142,300 miles. It has served us well, pulling our 19' travel trailer to many enjoyable camping trips without a hitch (pun intended). But the wife (truck was registered in her name) fell in love with a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, so we are moving on.

Thank you all who steered me to this forum when TrailVoy went down the tubes. Your advice and encouragement has been most appreciated.

Warm regards,

Jay

Wish you all the best as well. May you luck out and locate a Pathfinder forum with competent and friendly members that isn't part of the Vertical Scope (and to a lesser evil extent - Internet Brands) empire.

Good luck with the Pathfinder, a friend of mine is very happy with theirs.

... and you are blessed with one hell of a name... :-)

Unfortunately, PathfinderTalk.com IS run by VerticalScope. I guess they have some 400+ websites in the Automotive, Powersports, Power Equipment, Pets, Sports and Technology vertical markets. So far, the membership is friendly and we're all learning from each other with the 2013 - 2014 Pathfinder redesign.

Who runs this place?

Nah, actually *I* love to post his name, to make sure our posts of annoyance with his poisonous business model get indexed by the search engines. It's Rob Laidlaw out of Toronto, Destroyer of Communities and of Forums. Turns them into ad farms and sucks the life out of them in the pursuit of a buck and by being a parasite on thriving communities. Worst thing that ever happened to enthusiast-owned sites when the founders sell out is to be bought by Vertical Scope.

GMTN, on the other hand, was funded by a small investment in licenses and hosting by some former Trailvoy volunteer staff members, and now supports itself on donations. The fact that 100% (!) of the volunteer staff and admins moved here all at once two years ago is proof that we want to support the enthusiast-owned site model.

Best wishes with the new vehicle.

It's a great thing you did. How many members does GMTN have now?

Yeah yeah yeah.... I made one of these threads once too you know. I came back to the dark side after a year without my T360.
