So I got rear-ended by a guy who wasn't keeping proper distance. I must say he punished himself pretty well... :)

I will be getting money from his insurance company (instead of letting any of their associated shops work on it - none of them ever saw this car and have no idea where to get parts) and would like to do the job myself. From what I saw the only damage is on the rear fog light (completely smashed) and the bumper cover. The "real deal" under the cover seems to be intact. The cover is pretty big but replacing it should be pretty straightforward, right? Some pins, screws...?
Oh, and can I use a cover from any of the other GMT360s?

Man, that sucks.

Fog light? I can't see it in your pic or is it that thing hanging there?

Bumper removal is fairly straightforward and attachments are evident.

Where you gonna find another one? I would hope that there are yards there that have some because I don't think there are any new parts available for these trucks because Saab is gone. Nothing aftermarket is available neither.

I'm not sure body parts can swap with other 360's. I'd have to do a comparison with my TB.

Yep, that was the thing hanging there ;) The EU mandates rear fog lamps so I have to have it (more useful than front fogs IMHO, people's taillights do a shitty job more ofthen than not). Fortunately the bumper has a carving on the left lower side for it -- is it some specialty for exported vehicles or are all 9-7Xs prepared for it?

Actually, in the end I opted to have it done by a shop. A guy came to take pics and write a formal damage report and he told me that I can have it repaired in a shop that isn't a "partner shop" with the insurace company and that they have to pay. So I'll have it done by a reputable US cars shop here in the area. They are expensive but this time I don't care, the insurace company even has to pay for a rental car they'll give me while my car is in the shop :)
This is what they sent me to confirm parts:

So it looks like they actually have a source for new parts. No idea where it comes from.

Yep. Most exports get that. None here have it. On other models, like the TB, they sacrifice one back-up light for the rear fog.

Last time I checked for a hood, it would have apparently come from Sweden. Funny thing is that they never sold the 9-7x in Sweden.
