HVAC issue...

02 tb LS. Yet again, another HVAC issue. Drove it yesterday came home. Was working fine. Got back in it not even an hour later and I go to turn the fan speed up and nothing. Only speed 5 would work. Well got in it this morning and 5 doesn't even work anymore. I'm guessing its an actuator, but was wondering if you guys would have an idea I could try before I went and replaced it...

Assuming you have the manual knobs... the resistor pack has gone out on you. Let me search out the video and I'll edit this post.

Edit: Here is a link where I learned of the repair. Best to remove and inspect the wiring harness before buying something you don't need, or not buying it and needing one.

Actuators change flap doors to control where the airflow GOES. The blower controller / resistor pack changes the speed of the blower fan only.

I replaced this a week ago after blower speed only worked on #5...Simple repair...
