Interior air temp sensor driver side pillar noise?

Part number - 15188388 (denso) (sensor on driver side pillar)

This thing is constantly buzzing and whirring that sometimes shuts off....other times just keeps running.

When I disconnected the sensor, the rear actuators are clicking for 1minute or so upon starting my truck now? Any way to disable the clicking?

I'd say replace the sensor, $45 at gmpartsdirect.com. I think I've read some have lubed it to make it quiet.

Not sure about the clicking but the buzzing at the sensor is from a little fan that blows on it to give it a good sample of air.

-it gets dirty or off balanced or the bearings fail, can't remember which.
