So i am thinking about ordering led switch back turn signals for the front and i know i will need to order a resistor with it but I'm not sure which wire i would connect the resistor to. thanks

If you are only adding load resistors for front bulbs, a pair of 6ohm 50w (one for left the other for right) goes in parallel to the bulb... one side to the turn signal wire, the other to ground.
