No power to the tail gate.

Hey everyone im new here and im trying to figure out what I need to do to get power to my lift gate again. It first started out when the inside lights wouldn't turn off or my alarm key fob wouldn't lock the doors. I figured it was the lift gate. I would open and close it and it would turn off and the key fob would work again. Then all of a sudden nothing would work. The items not working on the lift gate are the rear wiper, the glass defroster, the lift gate lock actuator isn't working either. The plate lights do work on the lift gate. If anyone would help me to either trouble shoot or fix it or know anyone in the Houston area that would fix it for me without charging me an arm and a leg?

Usually caused by broken wires in the boot between lift gate and body. Pull back the boot and start tugging on wires, usually they look ok but are broken inside the insulation.

Yep. I just fixed mine last night. All 3 orange wires on the connector should be hot.

And as I learned, disco your battery first. I was not expecting such carnage.
