Eggs whites and water

Wow. How many? 12? 14?

What has the diet done for your measurements and mind? Curious is all.

Haha I wish. 5 egg whites and 1 yolk. With one piece of Melba toast and one cup of strawberries.

Well I just finished the six week cycle of shots and 500 calorie diet and I am down a total of 43lbs. So yeah this diet definitely works.

The next six weeks are without shots. Have to eat the same foods, but are allowed 1500 calories a day.

And no longer get to save on toilet paper by not just eating enough to make a rabbit pellet.

Very nice, congrats! I will be taking my class and test for it in the fall with my son through a guy in scouting here in town. He only charges for the test. I can wait until fall for that. We are very anxious for it!

Don't buy a book until late June or Early July, they are changing the Technician book and test July 1.

Got my hands on a Kenwood TM-281 mobile and a Baofeng UV-82 handheld.

Good starter radios, At least the 2M is beneficial for you. I use the hell out of my dual bands with the capabilities they have.

Thanks! Best of luck on yours as well. I found that the practice tests on QRZ helped a lot: Practice Amateur Radio Exams by QRZ.COM.

Yeah, 2M will work for the local Skywarn frequencies, and the local ARES repeaters, since I'd like to get involved with that as well.

We use a lot of 2M and 70cm out here, even with ARES/RACES and Skywarn. Part of that is because we also do a lot of APRS and packet on 2M.

I will check out the website! Thanks.

There is also http://hamstudy.org, like i said the test is changing July 1 so studying now can change the results if you test after that. Those question pools are changing as well.

Looking at housing near the new job. Not going to count my chickens before they hatch but man already finding several options in my desired price range. Cool.

Also it looks like the place of work is outside of the city limits so no local income tax to worry about there unless I live within the limits :wootwoot:

I am getting pretty psyched actually.
