I have a 06 TB LS. The radio is a single CD that reads BOSE when first turned on. The system has 4 door speakers and 2 dash speakers. I am getting an intermittent noise from the right rear door speaker. It does not change with volume, balance, or fade settings. The noise only goes away when the volume is completely off. The first notch in volume will bring it back even before you can hear the music. It will change pitch with the engine RPM. It was suggested to me the amp might be the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Could also be a break in the wiring or especially the ground shield from the head unit to the amp in the way back under the cargo area side panel.
I'm guessing it could also be dirt in the headphone jack if you have one in the rear seat entertainment control unit. If a kid plugs in headphones it's supposed to cut out the rear door speakers so they can listen to their source. You might also try plugging in and unplugging some headphones in there 20-30 times. If you have that option.

My experience shows that regardless of headphone jacks being plugged in or not, the unit should not remove rear power unless the RSA unit is turned on. Even then, it would turn off both rears, not just the back right. In fact, I rarely have this problem myself.
The wiring on the RSA unit. Known to become steadily crap over time. I believe someone's got a post around here somewhere where they soldered something or reseated the plug or some-such. Next time it happens, give this a shot: tap the back of the center console (or the head of the RSA unit). If a tap doesn't work, a slightly harder tap. Not hard enough to break something, keep it well within sane levels, and try it a few times. See if it goes away. If so, it's the RSA wiring.
