hey guys so i had to replace the rear driver side door latch and handle. So obviously i was inside the door panel. Well got the latch and handle replaced and when i was done the window will not roll down. When you press the swith you can hear it start to roll down but stops. Im hesitant to press the switch any further. I havent taken the door panel back off to see whats happening yet. Hopefully dont need a new regulator? Plus it worked fine before. Is it possible that one of the cables in there for the door locks or something is in the way of the window rolling down since i was messing around in there? Im not too familar with window regulators so any input will be great! I dont want to order a new regulator if its not neccessary. Thank you!!

Double check the path of the window guides to make sure you didn't mess that path up.

Thank you. I have a feeling it could be something like that. So for that just go inside the panel and watch the path?

That's what I would do. Pull the switch and get the panel off then plug the switch back in (or just use the front panel if you have a helper). Click and watch. You may see what is wrong as soon as you open it up. Never hurts to have eyes on something, even if it takes a few more minutes. Until they come up with X-ray vision, that's what we gotta do.

Thank you! I will take a look tonite. If the guide is off path will it be a common sense repair? Sorry like i said im a newb when it comes to interior lol!

I am, too, but if you identify it, I bet there is a website or Youtube video about it if you can't figure it out by looking at it. 1A Auto Parts has lots of good videos about different car repairs.

You may have twisted it slightly but you will see how it is tracking.
