My 08 ls is throwing codes 0068 and 0101. Ive cleaned the tb and replaced both the maf and map sensors. I can clear the codes and it runs fine. Once i hit the gas it lags and the REP light comes on. Im at a loss. Ive ordered a tb and waiting for that to come now. Anyone else that can assist me with this issue?

Probably a long shot, but the MAF sensor is lined up with the small arrows on the intake tubing and the sensor itself? I cleaned my MAF over the summer and forgot to do it, caused a code to pop up and not running too well.

If it lags and goes into REP after stepping on it, I think its a good possibility that the TPS in the TB is failing and causing the P0068 code. Since you already replaced two of the suspected parts, that really only leaves the TB left that you're waiting on.

That's just my :twocents:

I don't know how you replaced both the MAF and MAP. yours only has a MAF. Did you put the plate back into the TB the right way? I have seen where being put in backwards caused issues.

First fix the more serious issue, which is the p0068. Without an advanced scanner to check actual data, all you can do is parts shotgun it. The throttle pedal position sensor should be replaced first, as suggested, since it is the least expensive. Clear the codes and if that doesn't fix it, then the throttle body itself should be replaced. Either the motor or the sensor inside, which are not replaceable individually, may have failed. |Given the high cost of a new one, you could try using one from a yard. These are not a high failure part.

After that, we can look at the MAF code, which may disappear after fixing the first issue.
