NEED HELP small gas leak........

Hey guys. my 2004 GMC Envoy XL, which has a CAI...has developed a small "gas leak" it's a line that goes from the CAI toward the front of the engine, and into a little "cylinder" of some sort. It is seeping out where the rubber line connects to that little cylinder. It doesn't seem to really affect anything, OTHER than the annoying smell of gas in my cabin every day. I'd like to just fix it, but unsure of what parts I need, or even what they are called.

I've attached a couple photos showing a close up of where the leak is, and then a bit further away, so you can see where the line comes from.

I think that is the fuel pressure regulator... others will confirm if it is

That's the fuel pressure regulator.

yupp, as mentioned it is the fuel pressure regulator. Very easy to replace. Just need a larger torx head and unbolt it. I have a torx bit set that I can adapt to work on a drill or a ratchet and it worked great for me. I am not sure if local stores have this though. I bought mine off rockauto and opted for the OEM ac-delco FPR.

Is it leaking gas out of the little nub where the plastic/rubber hose attaches or is it leaking out of the bottom area where you have the metal lines going in and out of it? If it is leaking out of the little nub that is pictured at the top most part of that cylinder then you need a new fuel pressure regulator as it has a torn diaphragm and is leaking gas out. If it is leaking on another part it may be a weeping pinch weld on the regulator or maybe a bad o-ring on the gas lines going into the regulator. It is almost 100% positive to be a bad regulator though and can be swapped easily in like 10 minutes.

yeah..it's leaking where the rubber "upper" hose attaches. THe bottom "metal" tubing is not leaking.

How difficult is this to replace? Do i just need to unbolt the Torx bolts or do i need to disconnect any fuel lines?
