Why didn't you like the Struts? I was thinking about getting but it would be cool if you talked me out of it :yeS:

Hood didn't lift as high. I seemed to need access from sides as much as front which sucked to have inconvenient access from both sides but prop only had one inconvenient spot.

If the prop is in the way a stick or board or pipe can be used off to side and prop left down. If struts in the way...you can't do that.
